Other than your home, do you own assets valued at more than the upper capital limit?

You should include all the assets you own individually and half of any assets you own jointly with anybody else.

Please note, the upper limit for Wales is £22,500, Scotland £23,500, England & Northern Ireland are frozen at £23,250 for 2011/12.

Assets include:
Cash deposits, investments, bonds, premium bonds, National Savings, shares, unit trusts, property other than your home.

This value assumes that you have not made gifts of capital which may constitute deprivation of assets. If you have made a gift select the asset deprivation option below to check the position. If deprivation has occurred the value of the gift may need to be added back.
