BENEFITS IN SHELTERED HOUSING

It is possible that a sheltered housing need may create an entitlement to Attendance Allowance which is a non-means tested benefit, payable to those who need assistance with day to day activities.

In addition there may be an entitlement to Pension Credit and a range of other benefits depending on capital and income levels. In addition, financial support may also be available for those providing care and support to those in sheltered accommodation.
